Dear sister. Not sure of your
fully understand the tenets of Russell Brands faith that he has in fact
"chosen" a path. This is a path of Paganism, of Neo-Paganism and
of Buddhism to put it more succinctly of New Age philosophy.
The New age philosophy is in fact a rehash of old pagan ideas of
shamanic practices, Magis, and “spiritualists".
In the world there are only two religions. One of the
prophetic line (Abrahamic) and the other Pagan.
Russell Brand has ideas that are
shared with Aleister Crowley (occultist) at its core it has Hindu tenets as
does Sikhism and Buddhism. The new age philosophy has many Madhabs
(schools of thought) some advocate the Ayehousca route (drinking the Amazonian
herbal drink which conjures up group experiences which in fact are shaitans
descending and they think it's a divine experience). others not but they ALL
share tenets that go against the call of the Messengers and prophets.
This philosophy he follows is
usually favoured by middle class left wing white people. It's arrogance that i
see manifests itself in ways such as looking down upon what they call
"Organised religion" in a patronizing manner.
As i know sister you are a Muslim
like me. So if you look deeper into the concepts that they follow you will see
they are the exact opposite of what Islam teaches. The day of Judgement has
been replaced by endless rebirth. Worship of creation as being Divine.
Consciousness, True Will, (understandings that Crowley and these New age
peoples differ from Islam so much so that they are opposites.)
The most worrying thing for me is
their (or some of their Dabbling in the occult. As you may know Shaitan leads
men astray to other than the pure worship of the CREATOR. For me not
surprisingly the new age philosophy has within it many occult practices, so you
can see the relationship between the tool of shaitan (Ouija boards, spells, channelling
and their religion). Their dabbling attempts go as far as to claim to
conjure up Angels. But Angels would never interact with them (why is that?)
Since many can claim conjuring up spirits but an Angel?.
The practice of Yoga and its
relationship to the jinn has been a well held opinion amongst the Christians.
Since as Muslims we know the Christians have a history of falsifying,
lying tricking the people so i am very sceptical about anything they
say. Church miracles and Tv-eangelists are an example of some. Christians
rejection of the Greek influence of paganism into their own texts (generally
the Christian delusion is one reason why these Neo-Pagans rebel).
Until recently i had a long
battle with the Shaitan and i had experienced three yoga "enlightened
experiences" as they call it ! Not
by me practicing yoga but having filth (shaitan/jinni) inside of
me. The main experience being:
1. Outer body experience.
2. Sensing other Shaitan around (they may say spirits)
3. Closed Eye Vision (Level 4 (highest attainable).
4. Commanding voices.(Aleister
Crowley and disciples would often be stuck with this)
4. Other paranormal activities

You may of heard Joe Rogan always
promoting the psychedelic DMT drug. His psychedelic experiences what they
often experience are group experiences meaning a set of people hallucinate
the same things together. Marijuana smoker sometimes experience this. Aleister
Crowley made this (hard drugs and psychedelics) part of his religion (named
thema,
Crowley is one of the founding
fathers of modern day Entertainment). Hallucinations in a group experience
(is one way of their connecting to the divine) is a clear sign of the
Shaitans descending upon them. They pagan tribes use this drug as part of the
pagan worship all in the name of "expanding the mind" (you may of
heard this term a lot since it’s a part of the culture now rooted in satanic
rituals). Aleister Crowley is propably the founding father of "Expanding
the mind" religion and he done it best and if you don't know about him
please google him.
If you look deeply into
writers such as David icke the Hindu gurus, Sikhs, Satanists all share the core
belief system. Allah says in the Quran that “Shaitan made it pleasing to them (worship
of the planetary objects)”. You can also see the religion of OPHIOLATREIA which
is serpent worship manifests amongst the tribes and people (origins are
unknown).
So if you strip away Russell
Brands talks on politics and self improvement and apparent intellectualism you
will see he is not someone who is ignorant of Islam rather a modern day
Shaman calling to other than the CALL of the prophets. His recent online meditation
with some guru (the guru is accused of alleged sexual exploitation which is not
uncommon) is a form of energy channelling all this is deep pure paganism.
In my opinion dressed in Lefty liberal attire enticing the people I personally
view these people as arrogant since they will look down on you as if to
say you are a "sheep" an un-enlightened person following an
"organized religion". Yet they have no Law, No Morals, No
prophets (except these so called gurus) and their obscure, always contradictory, attempt
to understand and bring a set of Principles to the ghayb/unseen (which
they have little knowledge about). Even some of their attempts by using
scientific spiritualists such as Rupert Sheldrake they are grabbing at straws
(Rupert Sheldrake also disowns them) He is a scientist that is not ignorant of
the Ghayb (unknown) forces of nature and sees it being played out constantly in
nature. Their (new age) adherents will always superimpose European history
onto Islam, Biblical criticism onto Islam, European experiences with the Church
onto Islam, European mindset onto Islam and generally look down on you. They
take a "commoner" approach to Islam almost Tabloid-esque Islamic
reading and impose it onto the followers. Their arrogance and delusion goes deep.
But Islam and the Abrahamic prophets came with a clear message. It does not
take long to accept of reject this message because it is in line with the
(Fitrah) human nature the nature of human kind to Worship Allah with no
partners.
The Hindu, occult, satanic and
generally pagan teachings the self, the power of the self is always
emphasised. Consciousness and uniting with the "True"
consciousness "divine" which flows through creation is the age
of Pagan way. Do not for one minute think that Russell Brand is confused even
about the Deen of Islam rather i think he has made his choice.
There is a clue in this teaching.
You see how we are taught that nothing occurs except by the Will of Allah.
Their teachings are full of this. At the end of the Day Allah ultimately guides
who He wills therefore all Muslims (true Muslims not Muslims by name) have been
"chosen" guided by Allah. As Allah made the Injeel (or parts of it)
to prevail amongst mankind and the deen of Islam to prevail this is all in
Allah's plan. You will see the thousands upon thousands of pagan religions disappear,
rehashed, as soon as they started (all within it a common theme) and
history all having the same characteristics.
In our deen we even have the
issue of Ego and Pride at a central tenet (to get rid of it).
The mushrikeen (pagans) of old
they believed in Allah, if you asked them who your Lord is, they would of
replied Allah. If you probably ask all the New Age pagan including Russell they
would also probably reply in the affirmative. We are currently living in a new
age pagan culture as the Enlightenment and separation of church and state
meant that New Age philosophy entered into Europe and has takenhold of much of
the culture.
As you know the prophetic line
clarifies (since every human yearns this understanding) and has always
clarified the way of the Shaitan and the proper way in line with the nature of
Adam. Russell Brand worships yet he is preaching worship (Shirk) that is on par with
extreme paganism. The proper way to worship that has been instructed is not
only ritualistic, but our understanding of Will and reliance, is also central
to this. Russell Brands understanding of Will and reliance is shared with
Occultists/. Many of the popular books are derived from this such as “The
secret”. Satanists also use this form of understanding of mans power.
Unfortunately the Muslim da'ees lack knowledge
and research into this philosophy but focus more on Christians. Yet the path of
Ibrahim was to look around the people (pagans) and reject their way. The
Da'ees should focus on more on this New Age philosophy and I believe
if the likes of Ibn Taymiyah were alive today he would be the first inline
refuting them but we have Islamic groups rehashing 15 th. Century problems in
the 21 st, century (and killing each other off physically and mentally) their
brain have been left in the 15 th. century. To be clear my opinion is that Russell
Brand should be rebutted and not promoted.
